The Mandurah Basketball Association (MBA) is excited to announce a new partnership with Pinjarra Basketball which will see an extension of basketball services delivered to progress the growth of junior competitions, including Referee and Coach education.

Adam Ahern, President of Mandurah Basketball stated “This is an exciting opportunity for MBA to partner with Pinjarra Basketball Association to continue to grow basketball in the area.”

The partnership will expand MBA’s competition to include Pinjarra teams in their U13s to U21s junior competitions, as well as co-managing competitions at the Murray Leisure Centre.

Toni Dodd, Pinjarra Basketball President says, “We are looking forward to working with MBA to bring greater participation and further development  to the Pinjarra basketball Community”.

MBA Development and Pathways Officer, Megan Thompson will deliver programs into the Shire of Murray as part of the partnership agreement thus increasing the participation opportunities for young people in the area.

Both organisations would like to thank Basketball WA and the Shire of Murray Staff for their assistance in the process to finalise the partnership and look forward to the many benefits this it will bring for participants within both Local Government areas.
