Mandurah Basketball Association hereby informs that James Waldeck has resigned from the position of President effective immediately.
James has contributed a significant amount of his personal time to the role and our club over the past 2 years and has made excellent contributions particularly around the areas of governance and strategic planning which has seen the club improve and grow over the past 2 years and has set a strong foundation to continue to build on going forward.
We sincerely thank James for his contribution and wish him well for his future endeavours.
Travis Vernon has also resigned effective immediately from his role as Finance Director. Whilst only in the role for a short period Travis has worked hard during this time particularly on budgeting for the 2020/21 financial year. We also thank Travis for this contributions and wish him well.
Adam Ahern, who is currently the SBL Director, will relinquish this role and assume the role of interim President effective immediately and has also nominated for the President role for the upcoming AGM.
The date of the 2020 AGM will be determined and communicated as soon as possible.
Mandurah Basketball Association is pleased to announce the appointment of the following Board roles, effective immediately.
Chris Spitty – Interim Vice President
Amanda Tongue – Interim SBL Director.
Both appointees have also nominated for these positions at the upcoming AGM.
