The Western Australian Basketball League (WABL), is the premier representative amateur basketball competition in the State. It is where athletes in age groups of under 12, under 14, under 16, under 18, under 20 and open age Division 1 (D-League), learn to play and perform at an elite level. The competition is a pathway to further development and representative opportunities, like BWA State programs and NBL1.

Elite level sport provides an opportunity to show the best of ourselves, as a club, we provide this opportunity to our representative WABL athletes and we require their best efforts, consistently. Competing your hardest, at your best level, and showing respect for all players, coaches, referees, and officials involved is essential to contributing as a valuable member of the Magic community. Regardless of age group or division, Magic representative players, coaches and team, and club, officials are expected to compete, and support, with pride and demonstrate the highest level of sportsmanship.
